Welcome to the REPLACEMENTS LTD PAC website.
The REPLACEMENTS LTD PAC, based in Greensboro, NC, is a federal Separate Segregated Fund and was created in the fall of 2006. The Chair is Bob Page, the Vice Chair is Dale Frederiksen and the Treasurer is Gary Palmer. The FEC Identification Number is C00427849.
The primary purpose of the PAC is to influence the election of local, state and national candidates who will best support and promote the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) citizens. In addition, consideration is given to a candidate’s past and current positions on issues supporting the business and social interests of Replacements, Ltd. (which includes fostering an open community in which all individuals are free to participate and serve without discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity) and the strategic viability of the candidate.
We send an issue survey to candidates in an attempt to determine their attitudes and beliefs concerning LGBT issues. After compiling and evaluating responses, the REPLACEMENTS LTD PAC publishes a Voter Guide, which is widely distributed. While candidates cannot vote on many of the issues in the survey, their influence as an opinion leader in the community is very valuable.
